new twist on an old fave

Trying something new today, we’ll sort of. I am a huge Kusmi Tea drinker (try them now if you have not) and have long enjoyed the Saint Petersburg black tea. This morning I showed up to work looking for something new to try and dove into my Russian Tea collection to see if there was anything there to try out or get reacquainted with.

The green St Pete jumped right out at me and turned out to be a great match for my mood today! It is light and refreshing but also packs a lovely bergamot tone. I love the fruity hints and think I just found a new favorite.

I have to say as a side note that I absolutely love the quality of the tea bags which I appreciate given that my typical tea is loose leaf.

My go to is always black tea so this definitely was a pleasant surprise but with Kusmi I can rarely go wrong. Now my only issue is noticing it is out of stock to buy in the 4 ounce tin so it looks like we are going full swing with an 8! Good problem to have if you ask me. The tins are so cute with the french and english versions and make great storage for other items later!

I’d love to hear about any new teas you have tried lately! Leave me a comment with your faves and I will be sure to give them a try.

  1. Hi there.

I’m currently working my way through a packet of Ti Guan Yin, a fairly green lightly roasted Oolong, that I found at one of our local Chinese supermarkets. Very nice it is too, even though I usually prefer darker, more heavily roast Oolongs. Goes well with most food, too..! 🙂

    1. Definitely look into them. I am obsessed. I have close to 20 of their teas and some of the organic arm of the company Lov. Great quality. I am traditionally an earl gray drinker and they have soo many varieties … I also really love both detox teas as a daily morning tea. Let me know what you think after you try them
