spring 2016: styled locally

Visit me in New Haven and we are almost certainly making a stop at my favorite neighborhood shop Vintanthromodern.  To say expertly curated is an understatement for sure.  This store is filled with locally made gems ranging from clothing to cookware to candles and jewelry.  Couple the awesome rotation of locally crafted goods with the hand picked designer vintage clothing and this store wins every time.

With the big snow storm last week and planning for a friends wedding in Florida in April, I have been soo waiting for warm weather and sunshine.  While indoors during the cold weather I have been evaluating my wardrobe and deciding what I want for the next year and what I am will to part with when I start spring cleaning (closet – hello!).

There have been a handful of Spring 2016 trends which I really love and cant wait to grow/add into my collection while purging out others.

This is where my love for Vintanthromodern comes in. With the wonderfully curated collection of vintage items at the shop the options for quality style from a local business are endless!
